This software will display single images and show all the data encrypted by NASA into the filename.
This breaks down to display, which spacecraft made the image, which camera onboard the spacecraft made the image, which optical filter was used, The exact time
and day on Earth when the image was taken, The time of day on Mars and the SOL the image was taken, as well as other data. Images can be viewed in stereo by
using the cross-eyed technique.

MERDAT has a new home and has also had its capabilities expanded to include other spacecraft.
MERDATX+, which still needs a bit of work on linking the main page data to other areas, does Mariner 4, Viking 1 and 2, Mars Pathfiner and Sojourner rover, MER 1 and 2, and Mars Phoenix lander.
